The Independent newspaper published the details of selling the original "Disaster Girl" picture in the digital currency "Ether" for 180 Ether, which is equivalent to $ 473,000 according to the currency's price yesterday.

The image was sold in NFT format, which is a digital version of the asset that can be traded on the blockchain and in the world of cryptocurrencies.

NFT is coded in such a way that the owner and parent get 10% of the value of any future deal in which the image is sold.

The picture was taken in January 2005 by chance with her father's camera while extinguishing a fire two blocks from the girl's house, and she was 4 years old at the time, and she later won the "Emotion Capture" contest for JPG magazine before appearing on a group of photo sharing sites.
