Instagram tempts content makers with money to leave Tik Tok and join Reels

The war is raging these days between the Tik Tok and Instagram applications, especially after the latter launched the Tik Tok-like Reels feature, but it seems that this will not stop there, as Instagram wants to go further in this competition.

And Tik Tok recently announced huge funding for content makers, this funding reaches up to 200 million US dollars, while the developer says that this funding may increase over time, and the company says that this funding will be directed to content makers in order to let them produce short videos that are Broadcast via the platform.

For its part, the American Wall Street Journal pointed out that Instagram has a plan to get around the Tik Tok plan to fund content makers, where the newspaper confirmed that Instagram contacted some of the famous Tik Tok and offered them large sums of money in exchange for moving to the Reels platform on Instagram.

The newspaper says that the amounts of money that Instagram has pledged to grant to the content suite will be only if they pledge to broadcast their content exclusively on Reels or if they broadcast the content first on Reels, and Instagram also pledges to support the costs of producing and filming videos.
